Welcome Home Somatics Community Offerings

Rooted in the belief that we need each other for real individual and societal transformation, Welcome Home Somatics offers different ways to plug in with and learn and practice in community. For now, these will all happen online. Many of these groups will be launching in 2025, once we have gauged that there’s enough interest, so if you’re intrigued, please fill out this interest form and let us know if you’d like more information and/or would like to be notified when registration goes live for a particular group. We will weave somatic practices in all of these offerings. I will be inviting guest teachers to join or cofacilitate. Feel free to email me at regan@welcomehomesomatics.com with any questions.

Somatics + Movement Drop-In Spaces (Tues/Thurs/Sat)

Like a co-working space, these are virtual inclusive co-moving spaces!  Co-hosted with a fellow somatic practitioner, we offer three different groups, each following the same structure.

Basic flow: Each group kicks off with a brief check in, followed by a 5-20 minute simple somatic practice led by Regan, Lisa, or a guest practitioner (which can be done seated, standing or lying down); then we’ll have around 30-40 minutes of *self-directed time* where you can do whatever movement feels good to you, on or off camera, be that rolling around on the floor, dancing, physical therapy exercises, or any other movements that you’re drawn to. Please note: This part is self-led, not a guided class. Then we close out with a dance party for a closing song and have a final check-out.  Dancing is totally optional and can be done seated, standing or lying down.

Everything is optional–you are encouraged to participate in the way that feels best for you: check in verbally or in the chat or not at all, join us for the grounding practice and dance party or skip them. There is never any pressure to turn your camera on or speak.

Please read about the three different groups below and sign up for the group/s you’re interested in to receive the Zoom link.
Cost: FREE.
